The Recent trip to our choice of a museum exhibit, has shown different methods in how to represent a focus of work. Whether it be artwork ,writing , and past events. It has shown examples of how future exhibits could replicate the same ideas or change them.
With the examples I have seen, the manner i would like to approach my website to be more inclusive and open to feedback
The primary goal of my website is to make known of the history of the Onna-bugeisha woman. To show artifacts including images, description, writings, paintings. I would like to present my website similar to a past digital history project which was the LGBTQ+ t-shirt website.
I thought it was very interesting how they decided to show their information and the culture with clicking within the pictures. One aspect I think that wouldn’t work with my website would be that I have less images than with the prior example. I would have to figure out how to make it work and still be interactive.
The primary audience of the website would be university students who are learning about history. There is also interest from those who are interested in East-Asian history during the Boshin War.
In regards to my website I wish to accomplish an interactive website where it expresses how OnnaBugeisha were involved and treated during the Boshin War. Considering the different social system there was at that time and how it is in current society.
